Check your mail for your ballot the 2nd week of October

4 Ways to Vote

By California law, each registered voter will be mailed a ballot by their county election official. Look for your ballot the second week of October. Fill it out, sign it, and mail it back on or before November 5th - Election Day. It’s easy!

Want to vote in person? Visit a vote center! Vote Centers are open:

  • Nov. 2 to Nov. 4, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

  • Nov. 5 (Election Day), 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM

  • Locations marked with an asterisk (*) are open Oct. 26 to Nov. 4, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

You may pick up a replacement Vote-by-Mail ballot at a Vote Center, too. To find a Vote Center near you, check out the list below:

Yolo County has Mobile Vote Centers, too! Mobile Vote Centers are open for one day in each location. They are open Oct. 29 through Nov. 4, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM. To find out when and where a Mobile Vote Center will be in your community, visit the list below:

You can also drop your ballot at a Vote Drop Box.

The Yolo County Elections Office placed 15 secure Ballot Drop Boxes throughout the county. Ballot Drop Boxes are available Oct. 7 to Nov. 4. Hours vary by each location. On November 5 (Election Day!), you can drop off your ballot until 8:00 p.m. To find out more about Ballot Drop Boxes, visit the list below:
